Johnson & Johnson Abiomed seeks a Therapy Development Consultant for South Spain on a maternity leave contract, focused on expanding Impella therapy adoption and improving patient outcomes. You will train MDs and hospital staff, build relationships with key centers, and support distribution partners within the territory.

The role requires English and Spanish proficiency, cardiovascular device experience, and willingness to travel extensively across South Spain.

Formación

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a technical field as Perfusion or Radiology.
Proficiency in English and native Spanish.
Minimum 2 years of experience in medical device within the cardiovascular space; heart failure preferred.
Experience in direct patient support in a Cath Lab, ICU, or CCU.
Proven track record of launching high-value therapies and growth.
Established relationships with Interventional Cardiologists and Cath Lab staff in South Spain preferred.
Ability to travel 80%+ within the region; preferably based in Murcia.

Responsabilidades

Therapy Development: establish Impella & Heart Recovery as standard of care in South Spain with distribution partner.
Account Training: drive patient growth and clinical performance in key centers across the region.
Patient Support: provide onsite support for elective cases and post-case review with MDs.
Distribution partner support: maintain strong relationships with partner contacts.
