Abiomed, part of Johnson & Johnson MedTech, seeks a Therapy and Business Development Consultant for South Spain to cover a maternity leave. You will drive Impella therapy adoption, train clinicians, and strengthen relationships with hospitals and a local distributor.

Based in Murcia preferred, travel 80%+, English and Spanish required. Biomedical engineering background and 2+ years in cardiovascular devices are expected.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a technical field.
• Proficiency in English and native Spanish required.
• Minimum 2 years in medical devices with cardiovascular focus; heart failure preferred.
• Experience in direct patient support in Cath Lab, ICU or CCU preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Establish Impella & Heart Recovery as a standard of care in South Spain with a local distributor.
• Enable and drive patient growth and clinical performance in key centers; lead training programs.
• Provide onsite patient support; visit institutions and monitor activity to improve outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with distribution partner contacts and manage them.
