Abiomed, part of Johnson & Johnson MedTech, is expanding its heart recovery portfolio in South Spain and seeks a Therapy and Business Development Consultant for a maternity leave replacement. The role emphasizes delivering enhanced value to physicians, hospital staff, and our distribution partner across the Cath Lab ecosystem.

Candidates should have a biomedical engineering background, 2+ years in cardiovascular medical devices, and fluency in English and Spanish; willingness to travel 80%+ is

Formación

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in English and native Spanish.
• Minimum 2 years in medical devices, cardiovascular space preferred.
• Experience in direct patient support in a Cath Lab/ICU/CCU preferred.
• Proven track record launching high-value therapies.
• Established relationships with Interventional Cardiologists in South Spain preferred.
• Willingness to travel 80%+ within region.
• Based preferably in Murcia.

Responsabilidades

• Establish Impella therapy as standard of care in South Spain with distribution partner.
• Enable patient growth and clinical performance across key centers.
• Provide onsite patient support in cath lab, ICU-CCU and perioperative settings.
• Coordinate training programs for physicians and staff to drive adoption.
