Amazon in Spain seeks a Capacity Specialist to orchestrate carrier onboarding and attrition. You will source carriers, manage onboarding, and drive improvements across the Relay platform with cross-functional teams to optimize capacity and safety. You will work across EU borders in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, SOP development, and collaboration with tech and operations teams to deliver reliable, cost-efficient logistics solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or Advanced Degree.
• Experience cross-functional collaboration with tech and non-tech teams.
• Experience delivering cross-functional projects.
• Experience in program or project management.
• Experience in operations/supply chain with data-driven improvements.
• Basic Excel knowledge (navigation, simple functions).

• Identify gaps in carrier liquidity and implement action plan to increase capacity.
• Manage carriers during onboarding period.
• Maintain high operational standards with new carriers on safety, performance, compliance.

• Collaborate with tech teams on Relay platform for improvements.
• Project support ensuring Amazon requirements are communicated and implemented by Line Haul carriers.

As a Capacity Specialist, you will collaborate with diverse stakeholders across Amazon to optimize our Relay Carrier Supply Base within the Middle Mile Network (MMN). You will analyze critical performance and compliance metrics to ensure we maintain a high bar for quality in the network. Through data-driven insights and strategic relationship management, you'll develop and implement solutions using AI, improve network reliability, and drive operational excellence. You'll be at the forefront of innovation, helping us create more efficient, sustainable, and customer-focused supply chain solutions while optimizing costs and reducing environmental impact.

Key job responsibilities

• Sourcing carriers in order to increase our partners portfolio
• Identify gaps in carrier liquidity and build/implement action plan to increase capacity
• Manage carriers during on-boarding period
• Maintain high operational standard with new carriers on safety, performance, process compliance
• Continuous Improvement Management with carriers, development of SOPs
• Be innovative and support new features/ideas development with tech teams on Relay platform to improve carrier experience or process improvement
• Project support ensuring Amazon requirements are communicated & implemented by Line Haul carriers
• Work across the EU in a cross-functional environment

About the team

The Carrier Onboarding team manages end-to-end carrier lifecycle from onboarding a carrier, growth/engagement within Amazon Relay and ensuring compliance with Amazon and EU operating policies.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Advanced Degree
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• Experience in cross functional project delivery
• Experience in program or project management
• Experience with operations/supply chain
• Experience in program requirements definition, together with data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements
• Knowledge of Excel at a basic level (e.g., UX navigation, math & logical functions, lookup functions, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior management
• Experience in one or more of the following domains: access- control system and methodology, network security, application- and system-development security, security architecture and models, cryptography, and operations security
• Experience in logistics, or experience in an operational role
• Experience leading process improvements
• Experience in data analysis and reporting
