American Express in Madrid is seeking a Product & Marketing Assistant intern to learn and support the Product Marketing Team with content for Amex Experiences App, campaigns, events, and projects. The role provides exposure to launches, customer campaigns, and cross-functional collaboration with Customer Service and Travel & Lifestyle teams, plus opportunities to develop in a multinational company.

• Current graduate students in Marketing, ADE.
• Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proactive, responsible, flexible, and willing to work and learn in a multinational company like American Express.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both writing and speaking.
• Proficient knowledge of Office tools (Excel, Power Point).
• Having the ability to express yourself correctly on the phone and knowledge or experience in telephone and communication techniques is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support in product launches, refreshes and repricing.
• Control, track and monitor Premium Cardmembers responses to campaigns and events.
• Manage events’ capacity and list of attendees, as well as issue outbound calls to confirm attendance to the events and satisfaction calls when needed.
• Events waiting list management and outbound calls when needed.
• Provide support in the organization of events to Premium Cardmembers as well as assist when necessary.
• Web and Apps content maintenance across channels for Consumer & SBS Products.
• Continuous collaboration and alignment with Customer Service and Travel & Lifestyle teams to coordinate campaigns and events.
• Support on Dining programs for Cardmembers.
• Provide support when required on team projects.
• Collaboration to maintaining updated product benchmarks and analyzing competitors.
• Stock control of Marketing materials.

About The Role

The ideal candidate will join the Product Marketing Team in Spain, as Product & marketing assistant, and will learn to support will support with key tasks and functions such as Amex Experiences App content, campaigns, events and projects managed by the Product Team

Qualifications

• Current graduate students in Marketing, ADE.
• Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proactive, responsible, flexible, and willing to work and learn in a multinational company like American Express
• To be able to remain calm under pressure, think on your feet and proactively solve problems
• Good communication and relational skills
• Self-starting, innovative thinker who can provide team with suggestions and recommendations for process improvement
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both writing ans speaking
• Proficient knowledge of Office tools (Excel, Power Point).
• Having the ability to express yourself correctly on the phone and knowledge or experience in telephone and communication techniques is valued.

Preferred Qualifications

• All of the above. If the intern has recently graduated or about to graduate soon by the time the internship program starts, it is a better option than someone who is currently still studying.

Employment eligibility to work with American Express in France is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.

Hours: 35 hours per week

For Graduates

Alongside your internship you will be enrolled on programme coordinated by Fundación Universidad Empresa (FUE). This programme will allow students to focus on productivity, adaptive management and innovation, to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting, collaborating directly on the management and optimization of commercial processes. The student will develop essential skills in project management, data analysis, and negotiation, which are critical for future integration into the labor market.
To enroll the programme, the candidate must have completed the degree or due to submit the final degree project, or the final degree project plus 9 ECTS max.
