POSITION SUMMARY

Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests. Set tables according to event type and service standards. Answer questions about menu selections. Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability. Convey additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Record transactions in MICROS system at the time of order. Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, etc., throughout the day. Complete closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights. Present accurate checks to guests and process payments.

Follow all company and safety policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional; maintain confidentiality and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and thank guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally. Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond to colleagues' concerns appropriately. Adhere to quality standards. Verify information visually. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently and over 50 pounds with assistance. Perform fine motor tasks and maneuver objects of varying sizes. Navigate uneven or slippery surfaces, stairs, and ramps. Reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, and stooping. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Work Experience: At least 1 year of related experience.

Supervisory Experience: None.

Licenses/Certifications: None required.
