Position Overview

As a Camarero / a de Pisos , your main responsibility will be to ensure the cleanliness and order of hotel rooms and common areas, contributing to guest satisfaction and comfort. Your role is vital in maintaining Meliá's high standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning : Ensure all rooms and common areas are spotless, using appropriate cleaning products and techniques.
• Inspection : Daily checks of electrical appliances and equipment in rooms.
• Linen Change : Follow procedures for changing bedding and towels.
• Replenishing Amenities : Restock supplies and dispose of trash appropriately.
• Reporting : Communicate any damages or malfunctions for prompt repair.
• Organization : Keep the work area tidy and manage stock of cleaning materials and supplies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Professional training in hospitality or specific housekeeping certifications.
• Fluent in Spanish; knowledge of a second language is a plus.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, hygiene standards, cleaning equipment, and room management.
• Proactive with a service-oriented attitude.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the hotel or cleaning sector.
