The Foundation for Biomedical Research of the Puerta de Hierro University Hospital is the managing body of the Research Institute of the Puerta de Hierro University Hospital, IDIPHISA. Being part of IDIPHISA means having the opportunity to develop biomedical research activities under conditions of quality and excellence, in the field of clinical and translational research, at a national and international level.

Currently, IDIPHISA has 5 research areas and 43 research groups.

JOB OFFER

The Foundation for Biomedical Research of the Puerta de Hierro University Hospital is calling for a researcher position, with the professional category of Higher Graduate of Professional Group II for Scientific-Technical Area 2.

The Molecular Immunology research group is made up of four researchers, is mainly focused on the development of recombinant antibodies for cancer immunotherapy and has published more than 50 related articles.

This contract is carried out under the aid/project "4-1BB costimulation conditioned by immune checkpoint for effective and safe cancer immunotherapy EFFESO", which is funded by the State Research Agency with file number CPP2022-009765.

6. Other merits to be assessed:

• Experience in basic immunology and cell culture techniques
• Management of statistical analysis programs, flow cytometry and image editing.

The duration of the tasks to be carried out is expected to be approximately 22 months. The duration of the contract is subject to:

1. The completion or extinction of the project or phase/work package to which the contract is linked.
2. The completion or termination of the economic resources assigned to said project.
3. The termination or extinction of the specific financing line assigned to the hiring of personnel within said project.

The salary remuneration is €18,055 gross per year, as established in the Collective Agreement of the Group of Companies of the Biomedical Research Foundations of the II.SS. of Sermas.
