Formación

• Mínimo 2 años de experiencia en un puesto similar.
• Formación adicional en software CAE y CAD.

Responsabilidades

• Realizar estudios de CAE para garantizar la viabilidad técnica del diseño del producto.
• Colaborar con el equipo de fabricación durante la fase de industrialización.

Job Description:

MISSION

• Perform the CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) studies to meet the product design to ensure the technical and functional feasibility, with the objective of reaching cost, quality and timing goals established by the Company.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

1. Ensure, together with the Product Design Engineer (PDE) and Senior CAE Engineer, the technical feasibility of the products during the offer and development stages according with Ficosa Development System (FDS) methodology.
2. Perform the necessary CAE studies of the components and assemblies (production or prototype) using the simulation software to guarantee the fulfilment of the OEM and Ficosa product specifications, to meet the cost and quality goals established by the Company.
3. Analyse the CAE results of the product, find solutions and propose modifications to PDE in order to improve the design performance, the cost, quality and timing to avoid issues with real parts.
4. Check the virtual product with all design team: Senior CAE Engineer, Product Engineering Master, Product Design Engineer, Quality Design Engineer, Tooling Technician and CAD Technician.
5. Collaborate with manufacturing team during the industrialization phase.
6. Apply the standardized solutions and Lessons Learnt in the simulation studies.
7. Ensure that all simulations are done following the company's standards. All documentation (reports, files, 3D, proposals, others) has been done to guarantee the traceability of the product design levels.
8. Ensure the effective technical-computing communication between the company, clients and suppliers to obtain an optimum exchange of information regarding CAE studies.
9. Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
10. Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Academic background: University Degree in Engineering or equivalent

Additional training: CAE software depending on the simulation kind:
Mechanical: Hypermesh, Nastran, Abaqus, Radioss
Fluid: Hypermesh, AnsysFluent, Star-CCM+
Electromagnetics: Hypermesh, Altair Feko, Ansys HFSS, CST
Rheological: Hypermesh, Moldflow, Moldex 3D

Languages: Advanced English (written and spoken)

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar position

OTHER SPECIFICATIONS

Additional training: CAD Software (Catia or NX)
Knowledge of R&D Tools (Problem Solving, GDT...) would be of additional value
