Overview

The Cable Management Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal organization and management of our cable systems. This position involves hands-on work to manage cables and wiring across various departments, ensuring functionality and safety in our operations.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently organize, label, and manage cables and wires throughout the company facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on cable systems to prevent disruptions.
• Collaborate with the IT department to support the setup and maintenance of computer and network cable connections.
• Develop and implement cable management strategies to enhance workplace safety and efficiency.
• Assist in the planning and execution of new installations and the decommissioning of old systems.
• Keep detailed records of cable types, lengths, locations, and maintenance schedules.
• Provide recommendations for improving cable management and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in cable management, IT infrastructure, or a similar role.
• Familiarity with various types of cables (e.g., Ethernet, fiber optic) and connectivity solutions.
• Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Good physical condition, able to lift heavy equipment and work in different environments.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
