Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a HO Flight Line Maintenance Manager for MATACÁN Air Base (Salamanca) to lead LTA maintenance for the C295 fleet. You will manage line and base maintenance, certify activities, and ensure compliance with AM Working Party procedures while coordinating with planning, engineering and support teams.

The role requires almost 5 years in Aircraft Maintenance/MRO with leadership experience; Spanish fluency is essential, English a plus, and occasional national travel

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in aeronautical or industrial engineering.
• Almost 5 years of Aircraft Maintenance and MRO experience with leadership in a similar MRO role.
• Fluent in Spanish; English proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate, and certify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for C295 aircraft in Matacán per AM Working Party procedures.
• Lead and supervise local maintenance teams, ensuring smooth production flow across line and base maintenance.
• Ensure full compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards for all maintenance deliverables and certifications.
• Oversee daily line maintenance activities, resolving technical issues promptly to maintain fleet readiness.
• Coordinate with planning, engineering, and support teams to prepare and execute scheduled base maintenance events.
