Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking an Electrical Aircraft Maintenance Technician based at Matacán/Salamanca. You will perform electrical and mechanical assembly, integration and modification, while executing system repairs and initial quality inspections.

The role includes functional testing of aircraft and components and supporting Spanish Air Force inspections. A proactive, collaborative mindset and flexibility for customer facilities are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in aircraft/aircraft components maintenance.
• Knowledge of ECS, fuel, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• B1.1 or B2 license valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical/mechanical assembly, integration and modification.
• Perform system repairs and first level quality inspection.
• Conduct functional tests of aircraft and components.

An opportunity for a TMA Electrical Aircraft Maintenance Technician has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space. The selected candidate will join the Matacán Base (Salamanca).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and accountabilities will include: Perform electrical/mechanical assembly, integration and modification. Perform system repairs Perform first level Quality inspection. Perform functional tests of aircraft and components Inputs: Raw materials, tools, standards parts and components, documentation (technical instruction, job card an technical manuals). Outputs: Assembly ready for testing with associated production documentation. Give support to Spanish Air Force operations performing hourly and calendar inspections. Ensure continuous improvement.

Required Profile

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: Previous experience in maintenance of aircraft and/or aircraft components. Aircraft General Systems knowledge for integration and test (ECS, Fuel system, Hydraulic, Electrical Systems...) Experience in manufacturing: Tools and processes awareness, Technical documentation, manuals and drawings. B1.1 and/or B2 Aircraft Maintenance License will be highly valued/positively considered Continuous improvement profile and Quality knowledge or experience. Used to work with jigs and tools in aircraft and components maintenance Proactive and collaborative mindsets are a must due to the work being performed at the customer's facilities. Flexibility due to the changing needs of the customer.
