As a software engineer in the CUE Print team, you will develop and maintain our print publishing system in C++, optimize and enhance existing functionalities to ensure stability and performance, collaborate closely with developers, architects, testers, UX designers, and product owners to create the best solutions, participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing to ensure high-quality code, and contribute to modernizing and further developing the system architecture.

Key responsibilities

  • Work on implementing new features while ensuring accessibility, performance, and maintainability.
  • Participate in the full software lifecycle, develop and maintain software solutions in close collaboration with product owners to understand the product vision.
  • Analyze software requirements and write technical specifications.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Focus on security best practices, ensuring compliance and protection of sensitive data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust, end-to-end solutions.
  • Collaborate with the service department to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in software development.

What you'll bring

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent with at least 2-3 years of experience in software development.
  • Experience with C++ and knowledge of current C++ standards and algorithms.
  • Knowledge of software architecture, optimization, and maintaining large codebases.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, and the Atlassian suite.
  • Experience with automated testing and CI / CD pipelines (a plus but not required).
  • Thrives in an agile development environment and can work independently as well as in teams.
  • Ability to set technical direction, mentor team members, and ensure best development practices.
  • Intermediate understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices in software development.

Our offer

Being part of a dynamic and highly motivated international multicultural team of skilled professionals.

Expected salary range: 35,000 - 50,000 EUR gross per year, depending on knowledge and experience.

Working model: Hybrid (twice a week at the office)
