Job summary

ERNI is seeking a senior Software Engineer to join our Industrial Automation software platform. You will apply your React expertise and software design experience to build high-quality, responsive features as part of a global development team.

As a senior profile, you will mentor others, participate in code and design reviews, and drive quality through unit tests and patterns. We offer a hybrid model with office days and flexible collaboration across projects.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
Strong knowledge and professional experience with React.
Experience applying design patterns and designing desktop applications.
Strong focus on code quality with experience conducting code reviews and Unit Tests.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or another relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

Transforming requirements into software specifications and translating them into features and user stories.
Designing and implementing new functionality while participating in code and design reviews.
Working closely with stakeholders and multidisciplinary engineering teams to continuously improve the product.
Identifying bottlenecks and bugs while ensuring software performance, quality and responsiveness.

You will apply your knowledge of React, software design and engineering best practices to build high-quality and responsive functionality as part of a global development team.

And the second most important person after you, your mentor, who will guide you through your entire onboarding and career at ERNI. You will have regular 1:1 meetings with them, and recurrently, you will work on your development plan to define your short-, medium-, and long-term goals.
