Job Description:

Project: Our client is seeking a skilled C# Developer for a challenging backend project in a real-time trading environment. This position suits someone confident in modern .NET development, asynchronous services, and message-based systems.

Tasks:

1. Extend and maintain backend services using C# and .NET 6/8
2. Contribute to frontend development using Angular (basic level)
3. Integrate and support message queueing systems
4. Apply test-driven development to ensure robust and reliable code
5. Develop asynchronous services for scalable, real-time processing
6. Support bugfixes, enhancements, and small day-to-day changes
7. Collaborate with the client’s development team and contribute to ongoing improvements

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
2. 5+ years’ experience with C# and backend development
3. Solid knowledge of .NET 6 and/or .NET 8
4. Basic experience with Angular
5. Hands-on with message queueing systems (e.g. RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus)
6. Strong foundation in TDD (Test Driven Development)
7. Experience building asynchronous, scalable services
8. Experience in trading, finance, or energy trading is a strong plus
