Mission

Ensure financial sustainability and scalability by leading and executing strategic financial initiatives with a long-term vision, focusing on efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy & Leadership: Define and implement global financial strategies aligned with growth goals. Serve as a key advisor to the Co-CEOs and Executive Board. Promote a data- and results-oriented mindset across the company, balancing ambitious growth with financial stability.
• Planning, Control & Reporting: Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting with agility. Deliver transparent financial reporting internally and externally. Oversee accounting, tax compliance, cash flow, and regulatory reporting.
• Business Partnering & Scalability: Collaborate with product, marketing, operations, and growth teams to guide strategic decisions based on financial impact, efficiency, and ROI. Evaluate new business opportunities and optimize cost structures, automation, and financial management processes.
• Financial Operations & Controls: Oversee settlement and reconciliation processes with insurance carriers, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Manage monthly financial reconciliation and settlements with partners.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations. Develop a robust risk management framework. Maintain integrity, ethics, and transparency in all financial functions.

Requirements

• 5+ years in senior finance roles, preferably within scaleups, insurtechs, or digital-first companies.
• Proven experience in corporate finance, accounting, analysis, and strategic planning.
• Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Analytical, proactive, collaborative, with a global perspective.
• Ability to lead through uncertainty and develop high-performing finance teams.

Schedule & Location

Full-time, flexible hours (7.5 hours/day). 100% remote, with optional in-office visits in Barcelona. Candidates must be residents of Spain with valid work authorization.
