A leading insurance company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to guide our financial future and support our growth. As a key member of the leadership team, reporting directly to our Co-CEOs, you will play a vital role in ensuring long-term sustainability and scalability, aligned with our mission. This high-impact position requires a financial leader with strategic vision and practical execution skills, capable of driving financial strategy, optimizing performance, and making data-driven decisions to foster growth. Mission :

Ensure financial sustainability and scalability by leading and executing financial strategy with a long-term vision and driving efficiency.

Key responsibilities :

Financial Strategy & Leadership : Define and implement the global financial strategy aligned with growth goals. Serve as a key advisor to the Co-CEOs and Executive Board. Promote a data- and results-oriented mindset across the company, balancing ambitious growth with financial stability and sustainability.

Planning, Control & Reporting : Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting with agility. Provide clear financial reporting to stakeholders. Oversee accounting, tax compliance, cash flow, and regulatory reporting.

Business Partnering & Scalability : Collaborate with product, marketing, operations, and growth teams to inform strategic decisions. Evaluate new business lines, markets, partnerships, and growth opportunities. Optimize costs, automate processes, and enhance financial management.

Financial Operations & Controls : Oversee settlement and reconciliation with insurance carriers, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Manage financial reconciliation and settlements with partners.

Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations. Develop risk management frameworks. Uphold integrity, ethics, and transparency in finance functions.

Requirements :

• 5+ years in senior finance roles, preferably in scaleups, insurtechs, or digital-first companies.
• Proven experience in corporate finance, accounting, analysis, and strategic planning.
• Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Analytical, proactive, collaborative, with a global outlook.
• Ability to lead through uncertainty and develop high-performing teams.

Schedule :

Full-time with flexible hours (7.5 hours/day). 100% remote, with optional in-office visits in Barcelona. Candidates must be Spanish residents with legal work authorization.
