Ficosa, a mobility and environmental solutions company, seeks a Buyer in Viladecavalls to lead annual supplier negotiations and work with internal customers to hit purchasing targets.

You will manage supplier strategy, forecast with the ERP, tackle shortages, and collaborate with Engineering and Project Managers while following FPS and ethics.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Fluent English is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Lead annual negotiations with suppliers to meet quality, price, service and sustainability targets.
• Apply supplier strategy for product families and manage purchasing activities for projects.
• Forecast and ensure supply continuity using the ERP and FPS purchasing system.
• Lead escalation meetings with suppliers for shortages and participate in RFQs.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Project Managers to resolve supplier issues.
• Act as Global Lead Buyer when designated and uphold ethics and OHSE/Quality requirements.

In our Viladecavalls office, we are looking for a Buyer who will lead annual negotiations with suppliers and work closely with internal customers to achieve our purchasing targets for the assigned suppliers and projects.

Main functions

• Lead annual negotiations with suppliers to achieve quality, price, service and sustainability targets, including technical savings.
• Apply the supplier strategy for the assigned product families: develop, globalize, replace or eliminate suppliers.
• Manage purchasing activities for assigned projects and sourcing processes, following FDS and Ficosa's Purchasing System (FPS).
• Manage forecasts and supply continuity using the ERP, helping to tackle current shortage situations.
• Lead escalation meeting with suppliers for shortages situations.
• Participate in new projects RFQs for the assigned suppliers.
• Work closely with suppliers and internal customers (Engineering, Project Managers), leading supplier issues following the escalation matrix.
• Act as "Global Lead Buyer" when designated, representing Ficosa as a single voice towards global suppliers.
• Comply with Ficosa's Code of Ethics, ISMS and OHSE & Quality requirements.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Fluent English (essential).
• Interest in supply chain, forecasting and ERP systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills, proactive, creative and solution-oriented, with negotiation skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Able to work under pressure.
