Horse Technologies in Madrid seeks a Buyer to drive strategic sourcing, secure cost-efficient supply, and collaborate with category managers and cross-functional teams to implement global sourcing strategies.

The role focuses on supplier development, performance improvements, and negotiating with suppliers in a global environment to advance net-zero and performance objectives.

Formación

• 5+ years in procurement or related roles.
• Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in aluminum production and casting operations is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Drive procurement activities within the assigned category and continually develop them
• Identify and implement cost reduction and efficiency initiatives
• Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and supplier evaluations
• Act as primary contact for suppliers and manage ongoing relationships
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (R&D, Manufacturing, Logistics, Strategy)
• Lead and execute commercial negotiations at a global level
• Support supplier development and performance improvement initiatives
• Ensure alignment with global sourcing strategies and business objectives
• Strong expertise in sourcing processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation in global environments
• Proven ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into data-driven sourcing strategies
• Solid experience in managing and developing strategic supplier relationships and driving performance improvements
• Strong business acumen focused on optimizing cost, quality, and delivery while balancing commercial and operational priorities
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder influence, with strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Analytical and results-oriented with 5+ years in procurement or related roles; fluent in English; additional languages a plus
