Formación

  • Mínimo 5 años de experiencia en desarrollo de negocios en la industria automotriz.
  • Nivel competente en inglés y español, deseable portugués.

Descripción del empleo

The Dealer Network Development Specialist will guarantee the promotion of the business and the dealer network, as well as ensuring optimal compliance with brand standards in distributors that provide the highest levels of customer satisfaction, efficiency, and profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement the brand's network development plan and supervise the follow-up in the medium and long term, for the entire national territory, at the concession and installation level, Sales and Post-Sales, guaranteeing correct compliance with the standards and guidelines contractual.
  • Ensure that the facilities meet brand standards, both in construction and in facilities, equipment, and corporate design. Report breaches of agreements reached with dealers.
  • Definition and implementation of an audit system to ensure compliance with network standards.
  • Conducting audits of corporate standards and corporate facilities, interiors, signage, and tools, supporting and ensuring that dealerships comply with the different operational standards of safety, environment, and corporate identity.
  • Search for new strategic locations and new market areas to expand the dealer network.
  • Monitoring of the activity and the mandatory follow-up of the status of the business in comparison with the different business plans and feasibility plans.
  • Monitoring of the appointment processes of new concessionaires and renewal projects.
  • Defining and ensuring the requirements of the annual business plan and the timely presentation of said plan.
  • Ensure the maintenance of an adequate dealer network for current and future business.
  • Work closely with the global design team for new construction dealerships.
  • Optimal management of internal projects with attention to time, quality, and committed cost.
  • Availability of professional support to distributors to meet the highest levels of customer satisfaction, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Ensure monthly measurement of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that each network dealer has the competency and / or competency plans necessary to meet business plan requirements.
  • Work together with the BYD team.
  • Development of market-specific retail strategies including the planning and roll out of new formats (e.g., pop-ups, studio, garage, etc.) in close alignment with the corporate architecture team in HQ.
  • Market analysis and evaluation of power grids, infrastructure, local / governmental initiatives, competitor activities, and strategic locations for destination chargers.
  • Support of training initiatives for importer and dealer network employees as needed.
  • Overall administration of support systems for all internal and external users.
  • Prepare reports in order to provide management and HQ with sufficient information on the degree of compliance with contractual standards, network points, etc., as well as formulate proposals for a correct organization of concessions.
  • Present the conclusions (Management, HQ, Network) when required.
  • Visit dealers and promote the BYD brand awareness among dealer networks.
  • Identification of opportunities and synergies with other business units.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development areas with proved network and achievement in automotive industry and preferable in mainstream car manufacturers.
  • Proficient level in English and Spanish (desirable Portuguese).
  • Proactive, dynamic person, with social skills and negotiating skills.
  • Able to travel frequently.
  • Result-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills in multi-cultural teams.
  • Business Management skills.
  • Must be able to work independently: self-starter.
  • Have a driving license.
