Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) is seeking a Business Process Expert with deep SAP OTC expertise to join the Regional Center Spain. You will partner with global process excellence and IT teams to design, validate and improve Order-to-Cash processes, focusing on Customer Order Management and e-invoicing.

The role requires more than 10 years in OTC, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate business needs into epics and user stories.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in Order-to-Cash / Customer Demand Management.
• Proven consulting background with design/implementation of OTC solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Deep expertise in e-invoicing, electronic billing, and digital compliance frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of export control and trade compliance processes.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable IT solutions.
• Good understanding of integrated SAP processes, data structures, and system landscapes.
• Fluent in English and German; excellent communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and own the design, validation, and continuous improvement of business requirements.
• Serve as a sparring partner for key business representatives across the G+D divisions.
• Design and optimize Order-to-Cash processes (Customer Order Management) using agile methodologies; translate needs into epics, features, and user stories.
• Ensure compliance with global and local e-invoicing regulations (PEPPOL and country mandates) and support SAP DRC integration.
• Ensure adherence to export control and international trade compliance within OTC processes and system landscapes.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and logistics teams to align export control requirements with business processes and IT systems.
• Drive and enable the global key user community and continuous capability building.
• Contribute to rollouts and improvement projects (fit/gap sessions, test cases, test requirements, unit testing, end-user support).

We are looking for a Business Process Expert with strong knowledge and experience in the SAP OTC module, for the worldwide Giesecke+Devrient Group. The position provides the opportunity to work within the Regional Center Spain with an international team of SAP process and application experts. The role is an essential part of our initiative to enlarge our SAP team and further enhance and strengthen our partnership with our users. By doing that, we want to ensure that business will find a strong partner on our side, being trusted in supporting the daily business, following their growth and bringing the outside in, by offering them new perspectives and solutions. Besides handling the requests coming from the users, the position also requires participating in SAP projects and SAP rollouts on a global scale. Due to our fast-changing business environment, shifts in priorities and ad hoc requests, flexibility is key to success.

Your responsibilities

• You act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and take end-to-end ownership for the design, validation, and continuous improvement of business requirements
• You serve as a sparring partner for key business representatives across the 7 G+D divisions
• Together with Global Process Excellence and IT, you design and optimize Order-to-Cash processes (especially Customer Order Management), using agile methodologies and translating business needs into epics, features, and user stories
• You ensure compliance with global and local e-invoicing regulations (e.g. PEPPOL and country-specific mandates) and support the implementation and integration of e-invoicing platforms, including SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC)
• You ensure adherence to export control and international trade compliance requirements (e.g. sanctions, embargoes, dual-use goods, customs regulations) within OTC processes and system landscapes
• You support the design and implementation of export control processes, including screening processes (sanctioned party lists), license management, and cross-border transaction compliance processes
• You collaborate with legal, compliance, and logistics teams to ensure alignment of export control requirements with business processes and IT systems
• You drive and enable the global key user community, ensuring effective knowledge sharing and continuous capability building
• You contribute to rollouts and improvement projects (e.g., conduct fit/gap sessions, support the development of test cases, prepare test requirements, unit testing, supporting end users, etc.)

Your profile

• More than 10 years of experience in Order-to-Cash / Customer Demand Management, ideally complemented by technical expertise
• Proven consulting background with strong experience in designing and implementing Customer Demand / OTC solutions in complex organizations
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex processes, identify improvement opportunities, and derive data-driven recommendations
• Deep expertise in e-invoicing, electronic billing, and digital compliance frameworks
• Solid knowledge of export control and trade compliance processes, ideally with hands-on experience in systems such as MIC or comparable solutions
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable IT solutions
• Good understanding of integrated SAP processes, data structures, and system landscapes
• Experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA
• Excellent communication skills; fluent in English (written and spoken) and German is mandatory
• Experience in project management and agile delivery approaches; willingness to take ownership and lead initiatives
• Self-driven, structured, and proactive working style with a collaborative mindset
