Job summary

HP Inc. is seeking a Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Intern in Spain to support the IPCS team. You will learn to design, develop, and maintain BI reports and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau, collaborating with global stakeholders.

The role offers mentorship, an international work environment, and flexible 4-12 month arrangements. You will gain hands-on experience with data sources, ETL concepts, and cloud solutions as part of a dynamic program.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Academic or project-based exposure to databases, SQL, and/or Python for data extraction, analysis, or manipulation.
• Familiarity with Power BI and/or Tableau gained through coursework, university projects, personal projects, or previous internship experience.
• Basic understanding of data analysis, visualization, and Business Intelligence concepts.

Responsibilities

• Dashboard Development: Create and improve dashboards using Power BI and Tableau to translate data into business insights.
• Data Gathering and Analysis: Gather, clean, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources with team support.
• Requirement Gathering: Work with stakeholders to understand needs and translate into dashboard requirements.
• Dashboard Maintenance: Monitor dashboards, perform data validation and quality checks.
• Documentation: Document data sources, methodologies, and dashboard specifications for reproducibility.
• User Support: Help users understand dashboards, reports, and key metrics.
• Continuous Learning: Develop BI skills by learning new technologies and trends.
