This position will report to the General Manager directly
Responsibilities and Duties
- Handle inquiries, create and improve service proposals for our existing and new clients.
- Responsible for initiating sales calls to prospective or current clients
- Supervise accounts daily to retain existing relationships
- Responsible for price and service negotiation with customers and carriers
- Responsible for achieve sales goals to aid in achieving targets
- Nurture new sales leads to secure business
- Responsible for offering quotes to current and prospective clients
- Responsible for supervising shipments until delivery completed to guarantee smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Build relationship and sell to clients through phone or one-on-one
- Develop our EU agents network in assigned areas and targets.
- Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in freight forwarding industry or logistics related business
- Air / Ocean Freight Import or Export experience in freight forwarding with leadership experience will be an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment
- Knowledge of all Import / Export regulations and documents
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills in Spanish, English and Chinese
- Exceptional customer service and follow up skills
- Great teamwork and communication skills, attend to details
- The ability to travel to meet clients, attend conferences and research new markets as needed.
