At Lucanet, we believe that great salespeople aren’t just closers—they’re curious, resilient, and proactive. We are looking for a highly energetic and passionate Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team and play a critical role in expanding our presence in the DACH market.

Must be a German speaker.

As a BDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for future customers, sparking interest and opening doors for our Account Executives to close.

This is more than a lead generation role. You’ll be a trusted advisor in the making—someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership of outcomes, and moves fast to create impact. Whether you’re reaching out cold or qualifying inbound interest, your goal is to uncover real business needs and connect them to the value of our platform.

You’ll be part of an international, collaborative, high-energy team that values curiosity, ownership, and continuous improvement. Whether you're partnering with Marketing to refine messaging or sharing insights with Sales to sharpen our outreach, your voice will help shape how we grow.

What you'll do
  1. Own the top of the sales funnel: identify and engage potential customers through outbound prospecting (calls, emails, LinkedIn) and qualify inbound leads with speed and precision.
  2. Build meaningful conversations with stakeholders—often up to C-level—by understanding their challenges and connecting them to the value of Lucanet’s platform.
  3. Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure a smooth handover of qualified opportunities and contribute to pipeline growth, arranging in-person/virtual meetings.
  4. Use tools like Salesloft, Salesforce, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to manage outreach, track activity, and maintain high-quality CRM hygiene.
  5. Share insights from conversations to help refine messaging, improve targeting, and shape our go-to-market strategy.
  6. Embrace feedback, coaching, and experimentation as part of your growth—learning fast and iterating often is key to success.
What you bring to the table
  • A strong foundation for a career in sales—through academic achievement, early professional experience, or demonstrated interest in commercial roles.
  • Success in executing strategic outbound campaigns, with a passion for initiating new conversations, building relationships, and creating commercial opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English, capable of building trust with stakeholders, including C-level executives.
