Job summary

Recruitment Direct is seeking a Norwegian-speaking Business Development Representative in Barcelona to drive new business for GenAI Ads Solutions. The role requires engaging potential clients, presenting AI-powered advertising solutions, and closing deals.

You will manage the full sales cycle and work towards revenue targets in a dynamic, international environment. The position offers a base salary of €30,000 gross per year with an on-target earnings bonus of €5,175, and uncapped earning

Qualifications

• Fluent in Norwegian (C1) and English (B2).
• 2–3 years of relevant B2B sales or business development experience.
• Experience with outbound sales and cold outreach is a plus.

Are you a Norwegian-speaking sales professional with a passion for digital marketing, AI, and technology?We’re looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Representative / Sales Executive to join an exciting project supporting one of the world’s leading AI companies. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting new business opportunities. You’ll work with businesses to understand their advertising needs and introduce them to innovative AI-powered advertising solutions designed to help them grow. If you’re a proactive hunter who enjoys cold calling, building relationships, hitting targets, and closing deals, this could be the opportunity for you.

Your Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients through inbound and outbound prospecting
• Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, and social selling
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
• Conduct discovery calls and needs analysis with prospective clients
• Present tailored AI advertising solutions based on customer objectives
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to closing
• Achieve and exceed individual revenue and activity targets
• Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline information in Salesforce or other CRM systems
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding and customer handover
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
• Build strong, long-term relationships with business clients and key decision-makers

What We’re Looking For

• C1 level Norwegian
• B2 level English
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in B2B sales, business development, pre-sales, or lead qualification
• Proven experience in outbound sales and cold calling
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, paid advertising, and the wider ads ecosystem
• Experience managing sales pipelines and working toward revenue and activity targets
• Experience using Salesforce or another CRM
• Strong self-prospecting and lead-generation skills
• Confidence communicating with C-level and senior stakeholders
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• A customer-focused, consultative approach to sales
• Excellent organization and time-management skills
• Resilience, adaptability, and a strong results-driven mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience selling AI, AdTech, SaaS, or digital advertising solutions
• Consultative or solution-based selling experience
• Experience working with high-potential or strategic clients
• Strong product demonstration and client-facing experience
• Knowledge of AI-powered advertising platforms
