A leading company in EV technology is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive B2B sales across Spain. The ideal candidate will have a proven sales background, strong relationship-building skills, and fluency in both Spanish and English. This role involves developing partnerships within the EV ecosystem and achieving sales targets. Occasional travel may be required.

Formación

I'm currently with an industry leader in smart charging technology, who is currently driving the transition to smarter, cleaner transport and energy across Europe.
Their platform connects EVs, energy providers, and end-users through intelligent charging technology, and they're now looking to grow their footprint in Spain.As part of this next growth phase, they're looking for a Business Development Manager to lead B2B sales across the Spanish market.
This role is all about building relationships, developing partnerships, and expanding access to cutting-edge EV charging solutions through installer networks, distributors,



and automotive partners.Key Responsibilities:Develop and close commercial partnerships with key players in the EV ecosystem (installers, wholesalers, car dealerships, etc.
)Manage a pipeline of prospects and own the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiationAchieve revenue targets for hardware sales and software subscriptionsIdentify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell across product linesAttend industry events and represent the brand to build awareness and grow your networkMonitor market trends and competitor activity to shape local strategyAct as the voice of the customer internally, feeding back insights to improve product and service offeringsRequirements:Proven experience in a sales or business development role, ideally in the EV, energy, or tech sectorsSelf-starter with the drive to generate leads and open new marketsStrong relationship-building and communication skills, you know how to start a conversation and make it countComfortable managing a pipeline and using CRM tools consistentlyPassionate about sustainability, e-mobility,
