JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager - UK & North Europe to lead our business development activities in UK & North European Countries. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growth strategy, where your expertise will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence.

Tasks and Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the UK & North Europe.
  • Achieve the quarterly and annual sales and profit plan as assigned.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Submit short- and long-term sales plans.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business development, marketing, and product development, to optimize sales efforts.
  • Collaborate in search of suppliers and negotiate purchase terms of certain services.
  • Represent the company at trade events.
  • Use various lead generation tools to enhance the lead pipeline.
  • Update the CRM system and manage the sales pipeline by reporting opportunity evolution and probabilities.
  • Monitor and negotiate agreements and contracts, coordinating with Legal.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Genomics, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership within the bioinformatics, life sciences / IVD Industry / agrogenomics.
  • Strong network and understanding of the omics market in the assigned territory.
  • Understanding of omics sciences and technologies.
  • Proven track record of managing mid-level and high-level contacts.
  • A developing record of customer contacts at the outsourcing, procurement, and mid-management level.
