A leading company is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand their commercial activities across Spain. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technical product sales, strong self-management skills, and a desire to work primarily in the field. Formación

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in an international technical product environment.
  • Fluent in Spanish with minimum B2 English.
  • Knowledge or network in agriculture, landscaping or forestry is a plus.

Are you a sales expert with strong technical acumen and a talent for developing markets?

We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead and expand our commercial activities across Spain . The right candidate will have a proven track record in technical product sales , a strong sense of autonomy , and the energy to spend 80% of their time in the field .

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and achieve the annual sales budget for the Spanish market, in close collaboration with the International Sales Manager.
  • Visit existing customers regularly and lead the acquisition of new clients to ensure market growth.
  • Build and maintain long-term trust with Spanish customers, managing the order pipeline and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Participate in and represent the company at trade shows and sector-specific events in Spain.
  • Monitor market trends , analyze performance data, and provide actionable insights.
  • Ensure optimal use of marketing and merchandising tools at points of sale.
  • Train retail or technical sales teams on our solutions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with agricultural, landscaping, and forestry schools and institutions .
  • Apply company procedures relating to quality, health & safety, and environmental compliance .

What You Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in an international technical product environment .
  • Background in commercial training or education related to agriculture, agritech, machinery, or related fields.
  • A strong track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets .
  • Proven ability to develop sales with both existing and new clients .
  • Experience managing and motivating field sales teams .
  • Autonomous , organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driving license and availability for frequent travel across Spain.
  • Fluent in Spanish with at least a B2 level in English . French is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge or network in the agriculture, landscaping or forestry sectors is a plus.
