Formación

We are looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead the management and development of our distributor network across Spain in the medical devices sector. This role is crucial for maximizing business growth, ensuring profitability, and strengthening strategic relationships with our commercial partners.

Responsibilities:
  1. Distributor Management: Develop, maintain, and expand strategic relationships with key distributors across Spain.
  2. P&L Management: Oversee the profitability of each account, ensuring financial targets are met and optimizing contribution margins.
  3. Business Development: Identify growth and expansion opportunities within the distribution network by implementing effective sales strategies.
  4. Commercial Strategy: Execute business plans aligned with corporate strategy, ensuring the achievement of commercial and financial KPIs.
  5. Negotiation & Contracts: Lead commercial negotiations, establish contractual agreements, and define collaboration terms with distributors.
  6. Market Analysis: Assess market trends, competition, and distributor needs to refine commercial strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  7. Training & Support: Provide training and support to distributors regarding the products and solutions.
  8. Internal Coordination: Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure the successful execution of commercial strategies.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: Minimum 7 years of commercial management experience, preferably in the medical devices industry or related sectors (pharma, biotech, healthtech). Experience in the orthopedics sector will be highly valued.
  2. Financial Skills: Knowledge of P&L management, pricing, and profitability.
  3. Commercial Profile: Proven experience in contract negotiation, business development, and key account management.
  4. Key Competencies: Results-oriented, analytical skills, leadership, strong communication, and negotiation abilities.
  5. Willingness to Travel: Availability to travel within Spain as needed for business purposes.
Education:
  1. Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
  2. MBA or certifications in commercial management, negotiation, and strategic leadership are a plus.
Languages:
  1. Fluent in Spanish and English.
