Business Development Manager – Developer Relations

We are dedicated to offering a seamless experience to our clients as a trusted “one-stop shop” for all their real estate needs.

Position Overview : We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in establishing and nurturing relationships with developers in key markets. The role will focus on identifying and onboarding developers, understanding their project pipelines, and presenting investment opportunities to our network of investors.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Market Research and Developer Identification :

Conduct market research to identify potential developers and development projects in target countries (Spain, Montenegro, Italy, Turkey, Indonesia).

  • Build a comprehensive database of developers and maintain updated records of project pipelines and timelines.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify emerging opportunities.
  • Developer Relationship Management :

Establish and maintain strong relationships with developers, acting as the primary point of contact.

  • Conduct regular meetings and site visits to understand developer needs, project progress, and investment requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to tailor project pitches and investment proposals to meet investor criteria.
  • Business Development and Deal Origination :

Drive business development efforts to secure new developer partnerships and project opportunities.

  • Pitch and present developer projects to our network of brokers, highlighting investment potential and financial returns.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of partnership agreements to onboard developers successfully.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution :

Develop and execute strategic plans to expand developer partnerships and project pipelines in target markets.

  • Work closely with senior management to align business development strategies with company objectives.
  • Monitor and report on business development activities, progress against goals, and market dynamics.
  • Collaboration and Communication :

Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including investment analysts, legal, and marketing to support business objectives.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on market developments, project pipelines, and partnership opportunities.
  • Represent Mayak Real Estate at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance visibility and build relationships.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in business development or sales within the real estate or investment management industry.
  • Strong network of contacts within the developer community in target countries (Spain, Montenegro, Italy, Turkey, Indonesia).
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a track record of achieving business development targets.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
