The Role

In this position, you will approach customers from all segments of the Assembly Industry (Vehicle Industry, Aerospace, Offroad, etc.) to promote and develop our new portfolio of Data Driven Services and Software support solutions, from customer connection to customized, valued-paying solutions.

You will also ensure customer satisfaction, high profitability, and orders received through intelligent concepts of Data-Based Services.

To ensure team success, you will foster close cooperation within the three divisions (Motor Vehicle Industry, General Industry, Service), including Sales, Marketing, and Technical Teams.

You will report directly to the Business Line Manager (BLM) of our Service (SCE) business line and work closely with the DDS & Software Team of the division.

Position is located in Spain (headquarters in Madrid-Coslada).

About the job

Atlas Copco’s future Service development focuses on Data Driven Services and Software contracts!

You will be autonomously responsible for developing Software support and DDS-related solutions.

Your mission includes
  • Developing new potential business in the service area
  • Generating market insights to position Atlas Copco Tools as a leader in data-based services
  • Engaging enthusiastic customers with the product "Alture" and downstream optimization packages
  • Co-designing and executing sales and marketing strategies to maximize results and set future goals for product and service sales
  • Coordinating between Sales commitments and IT technical team execution
  • Extending DDS-Alture Sales as options to various Service products like Contracts, Software Services, and Tightening Services
  • Rolling out market penetration activities, supporting local sales teams, and presenting Alture to customers onsite to achieve high connection rates
  • Following up with customers to make the added value of data-based services tangible

What you should bring along
  • Several years of proven experience in value-based sales and business development of technical products or software solutions
  • Strategic thinking
  • Completed studies / Technical academic degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant area, with high application knowledge of Software and/or data solutions
  • Proficiency in English, Spanish, and French; Spanish is an advantage
  • Team player with the ability to motivate colleagues
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and all organizational levels / KAM skills
  • Willingness to travel to build customer and organizational competence
  • Passionate, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, and empathetic
  • Proactive, accountable, and results-oriented
