We are an Artificial Intelligence company that specializes in industry-specific visual recognition, solving core business needs with razor-sharp precision.

We go beyond object recognition (that’s so 2016) and teach computers how to understand intangible visual concepts (e.g “this room has natural light”), something trivial for a human to understand but complex for a machine.

Job Description

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with 2-3 years of experience who is passionate about technology, always looking for new ways to tackle complex issues.

As our Backend Engineer, you’ll be a key player managing our APIs, building the Machine Learning models wrappers, and helping us bring our state-of-the-art AI solutions to market.

The usual day to day tasks include designing, developing, and maintaining APIs integrating Machine Learning models for Real Estate market applications.

The role will be completely in English and any CV’s / resumes in other languages will not be considered.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product team on all API platform aspects.
• Work with the CTO on backend developments and improvements.
• Lead the design and development of API architectures.
• Monitor and automate API operations and alert management.
• Support CI / CD pipeline design and delivery with Software and QA teams.
• Deploy robust pipelines for pre-production builds and tests.
• Provide your technical vision in Software architecture and product discussions.

Background and Skills

A strong candidate will ideally possess at least one strong expertise in the following areas and at least a familiarity in others.

• APIs.
• Python, Flask and uWSGI.
• Celery or similar queue system frameworks.
• Docker and Linux-based systems.
• Elasticsearch or similar document management databases.
• The passion to keep up with the latest best practices, tools, and frameworks.
• An active GitHub portfolio is a big plus.
