A leading technology company is seeking a Business Development Manager in Madrid to drive sales and partnership growth in the Amazon Shipping business. The candidate will manage client relationships, develop sales strategies, and work with cross-functional teams. To qualify, the applicant must have a Bachelor's degree, business development experience, and strong negotiation skills. Proficiency in Spanish and English is essential for this role. This is a very exciting opportunity to join a new team in the Amazon Shipping business. We are looking for a highly driven, entrepreneurial, analytical, and customer-obsessed individual to join the Business Development team in Spain. You will join the team selling Amazon Shipping services and will be responsible for developing a strong pipeline, detecting opportunities, negotiating with external companies, and closing sales, as well as collecting market segment and customer insights to improve the product and delight Amazon customers.
This role will be based in Madrid (4 Towers district, NOT Getafe) with moderate travel within Spain (max. 5-10%).
Preferred qualifications include experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services, an MBA, experience in the B2C logistics industry, expert use of MS Office Suite, CRM (e.g., Salesforce.com), sales and marketing automation tools, eLearning tools, and experience working with databases.
