A leading company in renewable energy solutions seeks a Business Development Manager to expand its presence in the working van segment across Europe. This role involves strategic partnership development, B2B sales, and market analysis in the off-grid power sector. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in the industry and a robust network within the van conversion or mobile energy ecosystem.

Formación

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development in renewable energy.
  • Fluent in English; German is a strong advantage.

Business Development Manager – Europe (Working Van / Off-Grid Segment)

About the Company :

Our client is an international company specializing in renewable energy and off-grid power solutions , with a strong global presence. To support their rapid expansion in Europe, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to focus on the working van segment — targeting mobile professionals, van converters, and related distribution channels.

Role Overview :

The Business Development Manager will lead regional growth efforts in the working van and mobile utility sector, driving strategic partnerships and B2B sales across the DACH region and wider Europe. This role requires strong knowledge of off-grid solar solutions and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage key partnerships with van builders, converters, solar installers , and distributors serving mobile professionals (electricians, contractors, field workers, etc.)
  • Identify and capture new business opportunities in the working van / off-grid power market
  • Design and execute go-to-market strategies tailored to off-grid energy use cases
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings (e.g. Victron, EcoFlow, Bluetti)
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals
  • Represent the company at relevant European trade shows and events
  • Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to optimize product-market fit

Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships in the renewable energy or off-grid power sector
  • Deep understanding of 12V / 24V DC systems , solar panels, inverters, and portable energy storage
  • Existing network in the van conversion / mobile energy ecosystem preferred
  • Fluent in English; German is a strong advantage
  • Strong ownership mindset — able to work independently, set strategy, and deliver results

Nice to Have :

  • Experience working with or competing against brands like Victron , EcoFlow , or similar
  • Background in RVs, campervans, off-grid cabins, or field-service vehicle solutions
  • Familiarity with European regulatory frameworks around solar and mobile energy
