In TÜV SÜD, we are looking for a Business Development Manager for our Academy department with the following responsibilities :

  • Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships, acquire clients, and execute strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle : prospecting, negotiation, closing, and customer retention.
  • Create and manage the sales and digital marketing strategy (objectives, actions, and budget control).
  • Set commercial objectives and oversee their achievement through key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Define and consolidate the branding strategy and market positioning in technical training.
  • Design and oversee the Annual Marketing Plan : define channels, target audiences, and platforms to develop.
  • Identify and coordinate participation in events, trade fairs, and webinars to enhance the company's visibility.
  • Collaborate with global business partners and coordinate with international teams.
  • Manage relationships with external partners (marketing agencies, press).
  • Lead and motivate the sales and marketing team, fostering their professional growth.
  • Facilitate collaboration between training, sales, and marketing areas to improve the customer experience.

Qualifications / Qualifikationen

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or related fields.
  • 3-5+ years of professional experience in channel and marketing sales, product management, business development, or similar roles, ideally in the training industry.
  • Knowledge of the technical training sector
