Business Development Manager - Renewable Energy SaaS | Spain

Location : Remote (company will invest in an office).

As we expand our sales efforts across Europe, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive our growth in Spain.

Job Description :

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence across Southern and Eastern Europe. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving sales of our cutting-edge energy management and trading systems. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking company that is shaping the future of energy.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Lead Market Expansion : Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Spain.
  2. Develop Strategic Partnerships : Build and maintain relationships with energy providers, technology partners, and key decision-makers in target industries.
  3. Sales Strategy : Create and execute tailored sales strategies to expand our market share in the region, focusing on energy management, trading, and digital transformation solutions.
  4. Customer Engagement : Present solutions to C-level executives, conduct product demos, and oversee the negotiation and closing of contracts.
  5. Market Insights : Gather and analyze market trends and customer feedback to continually refine our offerings and sales approach.
  6. Collaboration : Work closely with the product and marketing teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and product development.

Qualifications :

  1. Proven experience in business development or sales in the energy SaaS sector.
  2. Strong understanding of energy management, energy trading, and the digitalization of energy systems.
  3. Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  4. Fluent in English, and proficiency in Spanish, Italian, Bulgarian, Greek, or Hungarian is a significant plus.
  5. A results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. Willingness to travel regularly within the designated European regions.
