Parametric Technology Espana, S.A. is seeking a Business Development Intern for Barcelona, Spain. The role is hybrid, with 3 days in the Poblenou office and 2 days remote, starting October 1st, 2026.

You will participate in lead generation strategies, pursue customer feedback on delivered services, and work with other departments on improvements to offerings, training, and marketing. Fluency in German and English is required.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in university; internship agreement with university required.
• Minimum 6 months internship availability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong relationship-building.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Willingness to relocate to Barcelona or already living there.

Business Development Internship - Barcelona, Spain

Start date: October 1st, 2026. Hybrid work: 3 days a week in the Poblenou office and 2 days remote.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Participate in lead generation strategies, such as cold calling, to identify business prospects within the software install base.
• Proactively follow up with customers to gather feedback on delivered services, ensure satisfaction, and develop ideas for pitch modification to better advertise services.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify improvements to product offerings, sales training, marketing strategies, and other business-related topics.
• Mediate conflicts where customers are disgruntled or seeking recompense and provide solutions that reestablish credibility, maintain business, and benefit the customer.

Your Skills & Knowledge

• Degree‑educated and currently enrolled in university. Eligibility for an internship agreement through a university is mandatory.
• Minimum 6‑month internship availability.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and good relationship‑building capabilities.
• High‑energy, committed individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and has a strong focus on reaching targets.
• First experience handling customers on the phone (customer support, telemarketing / inside sales) is a plus.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Preferably already living or willing to move to Barcelona soon.
