Siemens Healthineers is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Executive to join our Advanced Therapies team, focusing on Surgery in Spain. This role is pivotal in driving business growth, enhancing market share and establishing local Centers of Excellence.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in surgery and strong relationships with surgeons across Spain, preferably with a background in a device company. Experience in a national-level role with deep market penetration is highly desirable, along with the ability to provide significant value to all key stakeholders in the surgery ecosystem. The candidate should also have a comprehensive understanding of the entire clinical pathway, vascular surgery, neuro surgery, cardiac surgery, etc...

Additionally, the candidate should have a robust background in business development, marketing and sales support, with a focus on adapting zone strategies to local market conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and analyze the market situation to identify trends, opportunities and challenges in the surgery sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth in the surgery sector.
  • In coordination with the zone, adapt and implement the Siemens Healthineers overarching surgery strategy to align with the local situation.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans to promote Siemens Healthineers' surgery solutions and services in the country.
  • Support the Advanced Therapies team in implementing the strategy and design mitigation plans if needed to increase market share and achieve business objectives.
  • Provide comprehensive support to the sales team, including training, solution demonstrations and customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the field of surgery to drive solution adoption and market penetration.
  • Establish and develop Centers of Excellence in surgery across Spain, ensuring high standards of care and innovation.
  • Coordinate the overall implementation of the surgery strategy, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business goals.
  • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships to provide high value to surgeons.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in surgery, business development, marketing and sales within the healthcare industry, preferably in surgery.
  • Previous experience in medical device companies is very valuable.
  • Strong understanding of the Spanish healthcare market and its dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
