Formación

We are a market leading Global IoT / FinTec Payments Solutions provider working across a range of vertical markets.

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and closing new sales opportunities to meet and exceed revenue targets. You will play a critical role in driving business growth by generating leads, qualifying prospects, negotiating with clients, and managing the sales process for our products and services. In addition, you will conduct market research to monitor and understand the competitive landscape.

Reporting to the Sales Manager – Iberia, you will take ownership of driving sales for PayComplete solutions within the region, with a focus on the Retail, Hospitality, and Leisure sectors.

Your go-to-market strategy will involve a mix of direct sales to end-user businesses—leveraging a consultative sales approach—and building strategic channel partnerships, particularly with POS resellers, to expand market reach and close business either directly or through partners.

This role has a strong focus on new business development, with limited emphasis on managing existing accounts. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, and energized by the challenge of opening and securing new customer relationships.

Main Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned personal sales targets in line with company objectives.
  • Identify, target, and develop commercial relationships with high-profile customers, including both direct end-user accounts and channel partners.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
  • Drive sales using a variety of consultative and solution-based sales techniques.
  • Forecast sales, develop and implement innovative sales strategies, and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Take full ownership of selling PayComplete solutions, including hardware and software platforms for cash and payment management across key markets.
  • Negotiate direct and partner sales agreements that are aligned with PayComplete’s business goals and long-term strategy.
  • Proactively identify, engage, and onboard new partners, positioning PayComplete as a preferred provider of integrated hardware and software solutions.
  • Train, support, and enable partner sales teams to effectively promote and sell PayComplete’s product portfolio.

Key Attributes

Required :

  • Minimum 4 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in hardware and software solution sales.
  • Experience with payment solutions, particularly cash management technologies, is highly advantageous.
  • Background working with or for Point-of-Sale (POS) suppliers or resellers is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of education.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential.
  • Applications and CVs must be submitted in English.
  • Interviews will primarily be conducted in English.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates professional presence, confidence, and enthusiasm.
  • Familiarity with various sales methodologies and pipeline management techniques.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in PC applications, including Microsoft Office programs, and comfortable using Salesforce CRM.
  • Working knowledge of the retail and POS landscape in Spain and Portugal.
  • Understanding of key market players, including end users, systems integrators, and channel partners in the retail technology sector.
