We are looking for a Business Development Analyst to be based in our Head Office in Barcelona who will play a key role in supporting the growth and expansion of our hospitality portfolio across Europe, North Africa, and Turkey, by focusing on financial modeling, business plan development, and process tracking. This role is primarily responsible for analyzing market data, evaluating investment opportunities, and ensuring the accuracy and feasibility of financial projections.

Main responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and investment analyses to assess the feasibility and profitability of new business ventures, ensuring data-driven decision-making in all business development initiatives.
• Lead the creation and refinement of business plans, incorporating financial projections, risk assessments, and operational considerations to support expansion opportunities, partnerships, and investment decisions.
• Conduct in-depth market research and data analysis to identify trends, competitive positioning, and demand drivers within the hospitality industry, with a strong focus on financial and investment implications.
• Monitor and track ongoing business development initiatives.
• Support due diligence processes for potential business opportunities by analyzing financial statements, operational data, and market positioning.
• Prepare investment decks, reports, and presentations with a strong financial focus, ensuring that all materials effectively communicate business opportunities, risks, and potential returns.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Tourism or related field. Master’s degree or MBA with focus on finance, real estate or strategy is preferred.
• 1-2 years experience in financial analysis, business development, or investment analysis, preferably within the hospitality, real estate, or investment sectors.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large data sets, conduct in-depth financial analysis, and derive actionable insights for decision-making.
• Strategic and detail-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on identifying and evaluating business opportunities through financial and operational lenses.
• Knowledge of the hospitality and real estate investment sectors, including key contract structures (e.g., management agreements, leases, franchise models), market trends, competitive landscape, and financial benchmarks, is highly desirable.
