KYMOS GROUP is a medium-size and fast-growing Contract Research Organization (CRO) with headquarters in Spain and laboratories in Spain, Italy, and Germany and a Liasson office in South Korea, offering comprehensive bioanalytical and CMC analytical services to the life sciences industry. Its laboratories are GMP and GLP certified and GCP compliant, and have been successfully inspected by EMA, FDA, and ANVISA.

We are hiring a Business Developer to acquire new accounts of Kymos UK, Ireland and Nordics Area and to be responsible for the account management of the same regions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Promoting the company's expertise in analytical services (Bioanalysis and CMC of small molecules, biologics and nucleic acids) as well as advanced therapies.
  • Managing existing relationships with Kymos' clients and partners.
  • Proactively exploring new business opportunities and identifying new clients.
  • Support the company in ongoing promotional activities, events, congresses and meetings.
  • Coordinating with the marketing department to develop proposals for customers.
  • Follow up on quotes, negotiate contract terms and solve any issues faced by customers.
  • Manage the CRM software (Salesforce).

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Education: Bachelor's or PhD degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or related fields, preferably with a Master's Degree in Business Administration or Marketing.
  • 2-5 years of work experience within pharmaceutical industry, as in pharma, biotech, CRO service providers and/or lab equipment & supplies, preferably in Sales Development or similar; experience working in biopharmaceutical market is a plus.
  • Native or professional-level English is required; Spanish is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Availability for regular travel.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM software.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate and achieve goals.
