About the Role

At Globachem, we're seeking a Business Developer Innovations with deep roots in the crop protection industry to help us expand our footprint in Southern Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and commercialize Globachem's innovative crop protection products in South-European countries.
  2. Provide market insights, analyze competition, and identify competing products.
  3. Collaborate with the sales manager to select distribution partners and set pricing strategies.
  4. Lead pre-launch initiatives and support distributors through demo trials, technical training, and presentations.
  5. Build and maintain a network of distributors, CROs, advisors, and industry influencers.
  6. Coordinate annual trial plans to meet regulatory, crop safety, and sales requirements.
  7. Represent Globachem at local congresses and symposiums.
  8. Work closely with Sales & Marketing, R&D, Product Development, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams.
  9. Report to the Project Accelerator Innovations at our headquarters in Belgium.
Qualifications
  1. Degree in Agronomy, Bio-engineering, or related field.
  2. At least 7 years of experience in a technical-commercial role in crop protection, including product launches.
  3. Good knowledge of perennial crops (fruit, citrus, olives).
  4. Fluent in Spanish or Italian (native level) and English; additional languages are a plus.
  5. Based in Southern Europe (Spain, Italy, etc.) with flexibility to travel.
  6. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  7. Strategic, commercial, and project management skills.
  8. Teamplayer with a growth mindset.
