Do you have a proven track record in launching crop protection products and building strong networks in the agri-sector? Are you fluent in Spanish or Italian and eager to bring innovative solutions to market? At Globachem, we’re looking for a Business Developer Innovations with deep roots in the crop protection industry to help us grow our footprint in Southern Europe.

Job Content

You are responsible for the development and commercialization of Globachem’s innovative crop protection products in South-European countries. Your tasks include providing market insights, mapping competition, and selecting distribution partners in collaboration with the sales manager. You will lead pre-launch initiatives, support distributors through demo trials, technical training, and presentations, and build a network of industry contacts. Additionally, you will coordinate trial plans, represent Globachem at events, and collaborate across departments such as R&D, Regulatory, and Supply Chain. This role reports to the Project Accelerator Innovations at our headquarters in Belgium.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Agronomy, Bio-engineering, or related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in a technical-commercial role in crop protection, with experience in launching new products
  • Good knowledge of perennial crops (fruit, citrus, olives)
  • Fluent in Spanish or Italian (native level) and English; other languages are a plus
  • Based in Southern Europe (Spain, Italy, etc.) with flexibility to travel
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Strategic and commercial project management skills
  • Team player with a growth mindset
