At Globachem, we're looking for a Business Developer Innovations with deep roots in the crop protection industry to help us grow our footprint in Southern Europe.

Job Content

You are responsible for the development and commercialization of Globachem's own innovative crop protection products in various South-European countries. You provide market insights, map competition, and analyze competing products. Together with the sales manager, you select distribution partners and set pricing. You lead pre-launch initiatives and support distributors through demo trials, technical training, and presentations. You build and maintain a network of distributors, CROs, advisors, and industry influencers. You coordinate trial plans to meet regulatory, crop safety, compatibility, and sales requirements. You represent Globachem at local congresses and symposiums. You collaborate with colleagues from Sales & Marketing and other departments such as R&D, Product Development, Regulatory, and Supply Chain. You are part of the Sales & Marketing team and report to the Project Accelerator Innovations at our headquarters in Belgium.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Agronomy, Bio-engineering, or related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in a technical-commercial role in crop protection, with experience in launching new products
  • Good knowledge of perennial crops (fruit, citrus, olives)
  • Fluent in Spanish or Italian (native level) and English; additional languages are a plus
  • Based in Southern Europe (Spain, Italy, etc.) with flexibility to travel
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Strategic and commercial project management skills
