For our Barcelona office we are searching for a Business Developer to join the Worldwide and Development department to contribute on growing our indirect global network.

The Business Developer will report to the Region Director.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • To manage lead generation activities improving the existing sources (Linkedin, Google Ads, and other Marketing Online Activities) and proactively finding new ones.
  • To present the MBE business opportunity to potential Master Franchisees and support negotiations to achieve the final signature of the franchising contract.
  • To negotiate and develop the agreements with suppliers.
  • To support the start-up operations of new Master Franchisees.
  • To support the existing Master franchisee community in order to develop and support their network.
  • To manage and maintain the MBE guidelines and strategies to support the standards of MBE’s products and services.
  • To organize and coordinate activities concerning company events, international meetings and conventions.
  • To support translation and proofread the materials in a Nordic language and occasionally assist as interpreter during the meetings.

Skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor / Master in Business Administration or similar with record of strong academic performance.
  • Minimum two years related work experience in sales, lead development.
  • Prior international exposure (e.g. exchange program, language program, etc.) and internship experience in Sales program.
  • Excellent mastery of written and spoken English, and native Nordic language; other languages are favorable (Spanish / Italian).
  • Solid communication skills, ambitious and able to build strong relationships with internal and external business partners.
  • Good proficiency in MS Office Products (Word, PowerPoint), Google Suite and other business productivity software.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, strong familiarity and adeptness for analyzing data and problem solving.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important matters.
  • People-driven attitude and team orientation with the ability to nurture team spirit.
  • Willingness to be inquisitive, explore and learn.
