Leading international renewable energy company is looking for a Solar and Storage Business and Project Developer for Spain. This strategic role will be responsible for leading commercial initiatives, identifying new business opportunities and overseeing the execution of key projects in the solar and storage sectors in Spain.

We are looking for a leader with proven experience in the energy sector, strategic vision, and a strong commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Design and implement business strategies to expand the company's presence in key markets.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities in solar, storage and hybrid solutions.
  • Perform market analysis to detect trends, risks and opportunities that allow competitive positioning.

Project Management

  • Oversee all stages of projects, from planning to implementation and delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines, budgets and quality standards in projects.
  • Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and financial risks.
  • Strategic Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with developers, EPCs, utilities and other key players in the sector.
  • Negotiate agreements and contracts to ensure the success of long-term business partnerships.
  • Act as the main interlocutor for clients in strategic projects.
  • Company Representation

  • Represent the company at fairs, conferences and events in the energy sector.
  • Participate in networking activities to strengthen the company's visibility and create new opportunities.
  • Performance Management and International Coordination

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of business initiatives and ongoing projects, making strategic adjustments when necessary.
  • Collaborate with international teams to share best practices and ensure alignment with global goals.
  • Requirements

    Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy or related areas (MBA desirable).
  • More than 5 years of experience in business development and project management in the solar and / or storage sector.
  • Know-how

  • In-depth knowledge of photovoltaic systems, energy storage solutions (ESS) and European industry regulations.
  • Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent skills in negotiation and strategic relationship building.
  • Strategic vision and orientation to results.
  • Languages and Availability

  • Advanced mastery of Italian and English (other European languages are a plus).
  • Availability to travel frequently in Italy and Europe.
