General information about the position.
A Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, accessing, bidding and winning new business opportunities for the group. We are a service company looking for project opportunities as well as new long-term accounts.
BIM Solutions.
VR / AR / Digital Twin Solutions.
The position requires previous experience in the industry and a wide network of accessible contacts in these regions.
Responsibilities
- Review, understand and align with the company\'s general and regional business development strategy and goals.
- Generate business development opportunities by contacting people on the network.
- Generate business development opportunities by leveraging opportunities brought by other channels (Hexagon, Partners, Marketing).
- Work with Marketing to create marketing campaigns and other marketing content / material.
- Help EMEA management to direct sales in the region by identifying areas of opportunity (Data Centres, New Construction, Retail, etc.).
- Identifying promising prospects through cold-calling, networking, and customer referrals.
- Maintaining accurate records of the total number of sales made, potential and existing customers, as well as sales employee performance evaluations.
- Conducting in-depth research on competitors\' products, pricing, and market success to gain insight into customer preferences and interests.
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager or similar senior sales role. Extensive network of contacts.
- Skills and experience to create project proposals.
- Experience in selling lump sum and staff augmentation projects.
- Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
- Familiarity with CRM software.
- Bachelor\'s degree in the AEC industry or in business or marketing.
- Proficiency in all Google and/or Microsoft Office applications as well as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
