Neuraxpharm is seeking a Business Controller – Licensing & R&D based in Barcelona, operating in a hybrid setup. You will partner with License, R&D and product acquisition teams, delivering robust financial analysis and strategic guidance across international functions.

You will lead planning, budgeting and forecasting, build financial models and business cases for new license agreements and acquisitions, and drive improvements in reporting and financial visibility.

Formación

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 6 years of relevant experience, at least 3 in audit Big Four, plus 3 in controlling, corporate finance or business finance.
• Solid expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
• Proven experience preparing financial models, profitability analyses and business cases.
• Strong business acumen, analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across different functions and levels.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Nice to have: Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry and SAP FI/CO knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee third-party reporting for license agreements, including royalties, milestones, credit notes, payments and other contractual financial obligations.
• Prepare financial evaluations and business cases for new license agreements, R&D projects and product acquisition opportunities.
• Support investment decisions through profitability, cash-flow and scenario analysis.
• Review contractual terms from a financial perspective and ensure alignment with business assumptions.
• Build and maintain reliable financial databases covering key terms of license, R&D and acquisition agreements.
• Promote continuous improvement in reporting, controls, processes and financial visibility.

Neuraxpharm is looking for a Business Controller – Licensing & R&D based in Barcelona (hybrid role)

Your Mission

You will act as a trusted finance business partner for License, R&D and product acquisition activities. You will provide meaningful financial insights, robust analysis and clear recommendations to support strategic decision-making, working closely with Finance, Business Development, R&D, Legal and Supply Chain teams in an international environment.

We Would Like You To Have
