Nice Tech is seeking a proactive Business Controller in a hybrid Madrid area, reporting to the Finance Manager. You will lead AI-powered analyses and build models to support decision-making, while formalizing processes and internal controls across the organization.

The role emphasizes initiative, accuracy, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment with evolving structures. Strong Excel/SAP and English proficiency are required to succeed.

Formación

• University degree in ADE or Economics with ~2 years of similar-task experience.
• Experience in international headquarters environments.
• Excellent English level.
• Advanced Excel and SAP or replacement ERP knowledge planned by 2027.

Responsabilidades

• Perform financial variance analysis and profitability assessments.
• Prepare and monitor budgeting, forecasts, expense analysis and cash-flow reviews.
• Analyze billing, AR/AP, GL, inventory, costs, consolidation and revenue for accuracy.
• Support pricing, margin analysis and internal controls documentation.

We are hiring a BUSINESS CONTROLLER located in Molins de Rei, who will report to our Finance Manager.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Artificial Intelligence tools and a genuine drive to build and implement new models that add real business value. You will play a key role in formalizing processes and controls , ensuring operational clarity and consistency across the organization. You are someone who takes initiative, anticipates needs before they arise, and thrives in environments where structure is still being built.

You Will

• Identify opportunities to apply AI-driven solutions to existing workflows
• Build and iterate on models that support business decision-making
• Lead the formalization of operational processes and internal controls
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure standards are understood and applied

What tasks will you do?

Perform financial variance analysis and support company-wide profitability assessments. Prepare and monitor financial reporting, including budgeting support, forecasts, expense analysis, scenario modelling, and cash-flow reviews. Analyse accounting operations across billing, AR/AP, GL, inventory, costs, consolidation, and revenue to ensure accuracy and compliance. Evaluate product and customer pricing and assess margin performance. Drive continuous improvement, optimizing treasury processes, cash management, internal controls, planning methodologies, and information systems. Lead the budgeting process, monitor cost deviations, and provide financial insights to business units and department leaders. Support monthly closings, sales reporting, project financial control, and contribute to internal and external audit processes as well as due-diligence activities. Collaborate with the Finance Manager on process design, team training, and implementation of automation and financial tools. Prepare reports and presentations for the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.

What qualifications do we need?

• University education in ADE, Economics... 2 years-experience developing similar tasks.
• Previous experience working at headquarters in international environments.
• Excellent English level.
• Advanced Excel and preferably SAP skills or other ERP systems as we mean to replace SAP end of 2027.
