The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in a similar position. Candidates fluent in multiple languages are preferred.

As a Business Controller you will pursue financial condition and cash flow, monitor & ensure the financial balance. You will record and report revenue & costs transactions, analyse financial data and budget, minimize risk and ensure developed system of financial admin process is efficient and effective in accordance with financial regulations and Group guidelines.

How You Will Contribute

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, providing explanations for variances.
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate and timely forecasting.
• Conduct profitability and cost analysis to support business initiatives.
• Evaluate the financial impact of potential projects and investments.
• Provide recommendations based on financial analysis to improve business performance.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Maintain and update financial databases and systems.
• Automate and streamline financial processes where possible.
• Work closely with other departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations) to gather relevant data and insights.
• Support cross-functional projects with financial analysis and business case development.
• Act as a liaison between the finance department and other business units
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities.
• Assist in internal and external audits as required.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
• Propose and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as Business Controller preferably within the logistics of Freight Forwarding experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluently in English, Portuguese, Spanish and French will be considered as a plus.
• Flexibility to travel between 20-30% of the time.
